Who are Steam Tales

Steam Tales is a new site that I hope will interest people who are steam enthusiasts. Not only steam locomotives, but anything to do with steam power.

To start off with, I have included four main catagories;
Railways
Shipping
Traction (tractors, steam driven farm machines etc.)
Industrial

The aim of this site is to record, for present and future enthusiasts, as many stories as possible from the great age of steam to the present, before they are lost for all time.

A simple enough idea.

Whilst recording the tales you can read from my uncle and his colleges, it became clear to me how many of these tales there must be, and how unique they were. Gathering them into one place seemed the thing to do, but it will only be achieved if steam enthusiasts from around the world, actively get involved in recording these tales, from those who were alive at the height of steam.

Here is a means of sharing these stories, now its up to you.
